HIFU High Intensity Focused Ultrasound is a non surgical face & neck lift which has the capability of penetrating to depths only previously possible with cosmetic surgery! HIFU

Benefits of HIFU

One Treatment Only
Visible instant results and as it works from the inside out results build gradually over 3 months and can continue to improve up to 6 months after the treatment.

Uplift Happens Naturally
By stimulating the Superficial Musculo-Aponeurotic System, (SMAS) which is the same layer of tissue that surgeons pull tight in a face-lift. Thermal energy safely heats the tissue, resulting in immediate tightening of the skin and regenerating the new collagen.

No Post Procedures
No special after-care requirement

No downtime
You can resume your normal activities immediately

Non Invasive, Non-Surgical, Completely Safe
The HIFU procedure has been established to be safe and effective in clinical studies and over 200,000 patient treatments worldwide. It literally achieves the results similar of a face lift and considered the best alternative to invasive surgery or injections.

How it works

Unlike lasers, which penetrate the skin from the outside-in, the HIFU procedure bypasses the surface of the skin, and delivers targeted energy specifically into the deep, structural tissues and muscles where collagen lives.
HIFU involves penetrating ultrasound energy to stimulate collagen production in the deeper dermal and sub-dermal levels, which results in micro injury to that tissue. As the tissue heals, it increases collagen and as the collagen fibers organize and shorten, a tightening effect is seen on the tissue.

Suitable candidate

A good candidate for HIFU is someone with skin that has relaxed to the point of looking, and often feeling, less firm. A lowered eyebrow line or sagging skin on the eyelids, for instance, is often the first sign of maturing skin. Typically, those in their thirties and older who have mild to moderate skin laxity are candidates.

While HIFU is not a replacement for a surgical face lift, there are many people who want some lifting but are not ready for surgery. There are also younger people who want to stay ahead of the ageing process as well as those looking to prolong the effects of cosmetic surgery.

What to expect after the treatment

There may be slight redness for up to a few hours following the treatment, and a small percentage of clients may have slight swelling, tingling or tenderness to touch, but these are mild and temporary in nature.
Individuals treated with HIFU still have fresh young collagen after a year’s time following the procedure, but future touch-up treatments can help keep pace with the aging process, which varies by individual.

Does the treatment hurt?

It does not cause major discomfort. You may feel some discomfort, warm or heat sensations or even a slight pain that lasts for a few seconds and only during the pulsation cycle when the ultrasound energy is being applied. This discomfort is very brief and a good sign that the collagen-building process has begun. The level of discomfort depends on the settings used, the area being treated, and the individual sensitivity.
